he looks to replace XaviMikel Arteta has no intention of departing Arsenal this summer, contrary to a sensational report in Spain that suggested he might quit at the conclusion of the current campaign.Sport, a Catalonia-based publication, reports that Arteta has allegedly informed close associates that he is contemplating an early departure from his position.

Arsenal-affiliated sources have categorically denied that the Catalan press allegations contain any truth; Arteta, on the other hand, remains committed to managing the Gunners.

Sport is in close contact with Barcelona regarding the search for a new manager to succeed Xavi this summer. They have been informed that Joan Laporta is an enormous Arteta fan.

Arteta is under the obligation of a contract that extends until 2025, during which the Gunners are in contention for the Premier League and Champions League as the season draws to a close. In 2019, Arteta assumed the leadership position at Arsenal subsequent to his departure from his position as Pep Guardiola’s preferred backup at Manchester City. Throughout his time in north London, he has won three trophies, including the FA Cup and the Community Shield twice.Additionally, he oversaw Arsenal’s sensational assault for the Premier League championship and ensured their return to the Champions League last season.

Arteta advanced through the illustrious La Masia academy at Barcelona prior to his £6 million transfer to Rangers in 2002, after struggling for opportunities.

Xavi declared his intention to depart Barcelona in the wake of their 5-3 loss to Villarreal. “Before you ask me the pertinent questions, I wish to announce that as of June 30, I will no longer be serving as Barca coach,” he said following the match.

“Laporta and I have been discussing this in the sports area, and I believe the club requires a change in dynamic.” Considering the club and the athletes, I am convinced that they will achieve inner peace and liberation.

Regarding my status as a club member, I believe that “Departing on June 30 is the best course of action.” With that being stated, I am determined to exert maximum effort for the remaining four months; I am optimistic that we can achieve a successful season and I am hopeful that the dynamic will shift.Arteta, who has presided over 211 matches for Arsenal and secured 121 victories, could now be considered a formidable candidate to replace Xavi.
