It is Real Madrid’s aspiration to acquire the second Manchester City player, following ‘primary target’ Erling Haaland.According to reports in Spain, Erling Haaland is one of two Manchester City players on Florentino Perez’s star-studded transfer list to Real Madrid.

After signing a five-year contract with Premier League champions Manchester City in 2022, the Norwegian forward remains linked with a lucrative transfer to the Bernabeu.

In fact, a two-tiered release clause could make him available to non-English clubs this summer for a mere £86 million, according to the Spanish publication AS.

Mundo Deportivo reports that Haaland’s retinue has commenced preliminary discussions with Los Blancos, and that the discussions are proceeding “beautifully.”Haaland’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, commented on the rumors: “I do not believe it is necessary to assert that Erling does as he pleases. That is not the case. Erling will consistently prioritize his own interests and those of his employer, Manchester City.

She reiterated: “When everyone is willing to make a change, it will be done.”

In addition to Kylian Mbappe, another prominent transfer target and a prolific striker, Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City full-back Yan Couto.Couto, who joined La Liga leaders Girona on loan for a third time in July, has been a standout performer for Michel’s squad in 23 appearances this season, accumulating two goals and six assists.

The 21-year-old defender was called up to the Brazil national team due to his performance for Los Blanquivermells. During his World Cup qualification matches against Uruguay and Venezuela, he made one appearance.

Real Madrid is reportedly monitoring the highly-rated Couto, who joined City in 2020 for £5.5 million from Coritiba. This information was reported by Marca.During the prime years of his career, Dani Carvajal “fits the profile of a position to be reinforced,” according to the Spanish outlet. His level is also described as “spectacular.”

“The club has received positive reports regarding the Brazilian; however, it is still in the information-gathering phase at this time,” the newspaper further states.

Additionally, it is believed that Real Madrid is interested in acquiring Lille defender Leny Yoro and Benfica’s Antonio Silva. Additionally, Goncalo Inacio of Sporting CP is referenced.
