Last summer, Liverpool considerably bolstered their midfield, effectively replacing players who were let go at Anfield.Nonetheless, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp could undoubtedly add more reinforcements to the park’s core, specifically at No. 6.

Falk explicitly stated that both City and Liverpool are considering acquiring Kimmich in the summer, and it does appear to be the type of major transfer that would be difficult to execute in January.

Kimmich has been a member of Bayern for nearly a decade; however, due to the fact that his contract expires in 2025, it is highly probable that he will be permitted to leave the club in the summer.Recent reports from The Daily Star indicate that Bayern value the 28-year-old at £50 million; however, by July, that figure is anticipated to have decreased to £25 million.

Joshua Kimmich would be a significant Liverpool marquee acquisition.

Liverpool would be well-advised to acquire Kimmich due to his extensive experience at the highest level.

In 369 appearances in competition for Bayern, he has recorded 41 goals and 100 assists. He has 82 appearances for Germany as well.

Kimmich’s collection of trophies is highly remarkable. His accolades include a single Champions League triumph, one FIFA Club World Cup appearance, eight Bundesliga championships, and numerous German domestic trophies.Regarding Kimmich, Julian Nagelsmann stated on the Bundesliga website in 2022: “It is critical to have a No. 6 who desires the ball and possesses the required composure in possession.

“I am aware that he prefers to play in the middle, but there is no need to remind me. It has been duly noted (laughter). “Most notably, he is of international caliber at both right back and midfield.”

Supposedly, acquiring such a player for £25 million would be an excellent deal; however, with Manchester City reportedly also interested, it will be difficult to secure the signing.
