Jurgen Klopp has expressed his last wish to the club’s board: to acquire a 22-year-old to replace Mohamed Salah.Reports indicate that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has

submitted his sole transfer request to the club’s directors. Already, he has selected the individual he believes will ultimately replace Mohamed Salah in the starting lineup. He stated with emotion on Friday that Klopp will resign as manager of Liverpool at the conclusion of the current campaign.

Liverpool and the international football community have been astounded by the news from Klopp, who is regarded as one of the team’s most successful managers of all time due to his four key European finals, Premier League, and Champions League championships.

With Al-Ittihad’s continued interest in Mo Salah and the fact that his contract at Anfield is set to expire in the summer of 2025, there is growing speculation that this could be Salah’s final campaign at Merseyside as well.

The Reds would be left with a significant vacancy in their lineup following the Egyptian’s departure. Salah, who joined the club from Roma in the summer of 2017 for a mere £36.9 million, has amassed an astounding 204 goals in 332 appearances, solidifying his status as one of the club’s most exceptional acquisitions in a generation.Teamtalk reports that Takefusa Kubo has emerged as the team’s preferred replacement for the Egyptian attacker.

The Japanese winger for Real Sociedad has been in outstanding form this season, accumulating 21 La Liga and Champions League appearances with six goals and four assists. His squad has advanced to the round of 16 of the Champions League, where they will face Paris Saint-Germain.

While Kubo’s statistics may not be as impressive as Salah’s, Spanish sources claim that Klopp has informed the Liverpool board that Kubo “is the most comparable winger to Salah” among those under consideration.

The release clause in the contract of the 29-cap Japan international is a reasonable €60 million (£51 million), which the Reds could afford with relative ease.
