PSG told to “pay now” or risk losing chance to sign star Liverpool held talks for.
PSG is advised to “pay now” or risk missing out on an opportunity to sign a star player that Liverpool has been in negotiations to acquire. During the summer transfer window, Liverpool were linked with a move to acquire Corinthians midfielder Gabriel Moscardo, but he has recently been close to joining Paris Saint-Germain.
The 18-year-old is among the most promising midfielders in Brazil, but Liverpool have been unable to secure his services since discussions resumed in November.
PSG has been presented with an ultimatum concerning the “pending” transfer by Augusto Melo, the newly appointed president of Corinthians.Moscardo was expected to follow fellow countryman Lucas Beraldo to Paris, but a foot injury was discovered during his medical examination. The injury, which necessitates surgery, has thrown a January transfer into doubt.
According to Domingo, Melo has now demanded that PSG either finalize the transfer or return the player to Brazil.
The president stated, “PSG must pay immediately, or he will return to Corinthians.”
“He will return if they remain unpaid at this time.” I have requested that he return.
“Let him return to fitness here, and we will be in a good position to sell him for even more in two months; he will return, even if there is a chance that we will not be paid.”Liverpool may consider acquiring Moscardo again as they search the market for a defensive midfielder to replace Fabinho.
However, the teen lacks the necessary experience to appear in the Reds’ midfield, and a transfer to Merseyside would only be considered in the long run.
