As Newcastle are in critical financial straits and require funds to acquire new personnel, they are considering offering some of their current players for transfer this month. The Evening Standard reports that in addition to Atletico Madrid and AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal are now interested in striker Callum Wilson.

An “incredible” individual from Newcastle is now available.

Newcastle are currently prepared to divest their holdings of Wilson in exchange for nearly the entire £20 million they spent on him in the summer of 2020 when they acquired him from Bournemouth.

The 31-year-old is one of the club’s only two recognized strikers. During the previous season, he scored 18 Premier League goals, which was particularly remarkable.Nevertheless, with only 18 months remaining on his contract, it is anticipated that he will depart within the following half-year, and Newcastle will make every effort to secure a monetary exchange for him.

Although it would be ideal if they did not sell to one of these three rival teams that could contend with Newcastle for a European spot this season, that £18 million fee could be instrumental in Newcastle’s efforts to acquire a new player this month.Newcastle’s roster might be further strained.

Joelinton, Joe Willock, and Elliot Anderson have all sustained injuries that have the Magpies in dire need of a new midfielder, and Sandro Tonali’s suspension will not expire until August.

Adding to that, losing Wilson would be a devastating blow and place a great deal of strain on Alexander Isak, who has also struggled with fitness issues during his eighteen months on Tyneside.

Undoubtedly, they could attempt to penetrate a new market; however, doing so would be a challenging endeavor due to the potentially limited time remaining in the window after Wilson’s departure.

January is an already difficult month to find good value in, but Newcastle could find themselves in a precarious position where they are compelled to spend more than they should.
