Chelsea Confirmes four transfer deals in final two weeks of January window.

Chelsea may complete four transfer transactions during the last two weeks of the January transfer window. If all goes according to plan for the Blues between now and the conclusion of the January transfer

window, Chelsea could complete as many as four transactions. They have been the largest spenders in the Premier League in recent years, but despite requiring more reinforcements, have yet to add to their roster this month.Under the leadership of Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea have struggled to a mediocre start to the Premier League season, sitting securely in the mid-table with only nine victories from 21 games. The Argentine manager has previously expressed his intention to enhance his squad this month, highlighting the need for improvement in their forward line.

It is believed that Chelsea are interested in acquiring another striker this month, as Nicolas Jackson, whom they acquired in the summer, has accumulated more yellow cards than Premier League goals so far this season. The Blues are reportedly interested in acquiring Sporting forward Viktor Gyokeres, but it seems highly improbable that any successful transfer would come at a significant financial burden.

Chelsea has reportedly already initiated an investigation into the former Coventry striker in light of his remarkable performance in recent months, as reported by the Evening Standard. Contradictory reports exist, however, regarding the extent of Chelsea’s interest; the Portuguese publication Record reported earlier this week that a £72 million bid was rejected.A £87 million break clause is rumored to be present in Gyokeres’ contract with Sporting; it is uncertain whether Chelsea will be willing to pay that amount. An additional prospective target for the forward position could be Karim Benzema, who has been linked with a return to Europe since his summer transfer to Saudi club Al-Ittihad.

As reported by ESPN, the Frenchman is reportedly open to the possibility of relocating; Chelsea is reportedly monitoring his situation in the event that a suitable opportunity arises. They have prior knowledge of Benzema’s destructive prowess, as he scored six goals in Champions League matches against them in 2021, 2022, and 2023.Additionally, Chelsea could benefit from an improvement in their defensive options, as key player injuries have rendered them deficient at the rear this season. Recent rumors have suggested a move for Sporting center-back Ousmane Diomande; however, any transaction is likely to be prohibitively expensive, as the Portuguese heavyweights are unwilling to sell for less than his £69 million release clause.

Regarding departures, Chelsea has already said farewell to David Datro Fofana and Ian Maatsen, who were loaned to Borussia Dortmund and Burnley, respectively. According to The Telegraph, Armando Broja appears to be on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge permanently, as West Ham, Wolves, and Fulham are all ardent admirers.

Chelsea is rumored to be seeking a transfer fee of £50 million to £60 million in return for Broja, who has encountered difficulties maintaining consistent playing time in recent months. Clubs may be deterred from pursuing the 22-year-old due to his exorbitant transfer fee; however, Chelsea are not in an immediate hurry to sell, as he renewed his long-term contract in the summer of 2022.
