Wide receiver Chris Olave’s fifth-year option is exercised by the New Orleans Saints.

New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Wednesday that the club has exercised the team’s fifth-year option on wide receiver Chris Olave. Olave, a first-round draft choice in 2022, is now signed through the 2026 season.

Olave, 6-1, 188, who will be a fourth-year NFL veteran in 2025, has played in 39 games with 28 starts for New Orleans. He has caught 191 passes for 2,565 yards (13.4 avg.) with ten touchdowns, leading the team in both receptions and receiving yards in each of his first two seasons. In 2024, Olave started all eight games he played in and caught 32 passes for 400 yards (12.5 avg.) with one touchdown.
