The Cardinals have revealed their home and away ACC opponents.

During the 2025–2026 season, Louisville will play Duke and SMU twice.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) revealed the University of Louisville men’s basketball team’s home and away opponents for the 2025–26 campaign.

The ACC schedule’s dates, timings, and TV assignments are still pending. Beginning in the next season, the ACC’s men’s basketball programs will play two teams twice, fourteen teams once, and one team not at all as they transition from a 20-game conference schedule to an 18-game league schedule.

Every year, teams will play a conventional home-and-away match against a “rivalry” team; SMU is Louisville’s designated opponent.

Additionally, teams will face a different opponent twice, with the opponent changing every year. Louisville and Duke will play twice in 2025–2026: once at Cameron Indoor Stadium and once at the KFC Yum! Center.

The Cardinals will host North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Notre Dame, Boston College, and Syracuse in addition to SMU and Duke. They will also play at California, Stanford, Pittsburgh, Miami, Clemson, Wake Forest, and North Carolina.

Florida State will not be played by the Cardinals in the 2025–2026 regular season. You can still buy season tickets for the 2025–2026 UofL men’s basketball season.
