In the 2025 NFL draft, the New Orleans Saints picked up nine players.
Here is a full list of all the NFL Draft picks that New Orleans made in each round.


With their first picks, the Saints got offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. from Texas, quarterback Tyler Shough from Louisville, defensive tackle Vernon Broughton from Texas, safety Jonas Sanker from Virginia, linebacker Danny Stutsman from Oklahoma, cornerback Quincy Riley from Louisville, running back Devin Neal from Kansas, tight end Moliki Matavao from UCLA, and defensive lineman Fadil Diggs from Syracuse.

On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the ninth pick in the NFL Draft went to offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. from Texas. He was picked by the New Orleans Saints.

The junior from Humble, Texas, Kelvin Banks Jr. was one of the best offensive tackles in the country during his three years with the Longhorns. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 315 pounds. Banks started all 42 games of his college career at left tackle and was a key member of the Texas offensive line that led the team to the College Football Playoff in 2024. He was a five-star prospect out of high school. He shared the Jacobs Blocking Trophy as the best tackle in the SEC that season and won the Lombardi Award and the Outland Trophy. He was also named a First-Team AP All-American. Banks led one of the best pass-blocking units in the country and only let one sack happen in each of the last two seasons.

Played left tackle for three years at Texas and started all 42 games.
Winner of the Lombardi Award and the Outland Trophy in 2024. First-Team All-American by everyone. First-Team All-SEC by everyone. They both won the SEC Jacobs Blocking Trophy. Finalist for the Joe Moore Award. Offensive Lineman of the Week twice in the SEC (Sept. 30 and Oct. 14). The National Player of the Week for the Outland Trophy ended on October 15. Started 15 games at left tackle, but was hurt and missed the SEC Championship. Important blocking plays helped beat top teams like Michigan, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Florida. Didn’t let Mississippi State get a sack. Availed for over 6 yards per run in several games and helped Texas make it to the College Football Playoff.


All-American second team in 2023 (Associated Press). unanimous selection to the first team of All-Big 12. Finalist for the Joe Moore Award. Played left tackle for 14 games. Texas gained over 470 yards per game thanks to him and his offensive line. They also blocked for RB Jonathon Brooks (1,158 yards) and QB Quinn Ewers. helped him gain 662 yards in the Big 12 Championship win over Oklahoma State.
FWAA and College Football News both named him a freshman All-American in 2022. The AP and coaches named him to the second team of All-Big 12. A candidate for the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award. He was also nominated for Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year and Offensive Freshman of the Year. Played left tackle in all 13 games. Had Bijan Robinson, winner of the Doak Walker Award, blocked. Robinson ran for 1,580 yards and 18 scores. Helped Texas run for 427 yards and score six touchdowns on the ground in a win at Kansas on the road.
High School: Summer Creek High School (Humble, TX) commit with five stars. As high as No. 6 in the country. Picked for the Under Armour All-America Game in 2022. He was named the District 21-6A Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. Four times chosen for All-District. As a senior, he led a run-heavy attack that had multiple games with 400 yards or more of rushing and scored 50 points or more in seven games.

Tyler Shough, a senior from Chandler, Arizona, is 6 feet 4 inches tall and went to college at Oregon, Texas Tech, and Louisville. One of three national Comeback Players of the Year in 2024, Shough led Louisville to an 8-4 record as a starter and was named Honorable Mention All-ACC. He was also a four-star prospect. The most yards he ever threw were 3,195, and he scored 23 touchdowns that year. In 2025, Shough ran the 40-yard dash in 4.63 seconds and showed off a 32-inch vertical jump.

2024 (Louisville): Started 12 games and helped the Cardinals go 8-4. Winner of the Associated Press and College Sports Communicators (CSC) Comeback Player of the Year award. Thrown for 3,195 yards and 23 scores, which were fourth and fifth best in the ACC, respectively. Honored with honorable mention All-ACC awards. In his first game at Louisville, against Austin Peay, he set a school record by throwing four touchdowns. threw for 349 yards against Jacksonville State, which was the most on the season, and four scores against Miami. Finished the season completing 62.7% of his passes, which put him 20th in the country in passing yards and 29th in scores.
2023 (Texas Tech): Hurt and could only play in four games, but threw for 746 yards and seven scores. Started the year on the watch lists for the Maxwell Award and the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award. Put on the Shrine Bowl 1000 list. Showed signs of being a great player before getting hurt and missing time.
2022 (Texas Tech): Played in seven games and started five of them. He led Texas Tech to a perfect 5-0 record in games he won. threw for 1,304 yards and seven touchdowns and ran for 269 yards and four more. Was named MVP of the TaxAct Texas Bowl after rushing for two scores and 353 yards in a win over Ole Miss. Passed for 436 yards in a win over Oklahoma, which was the most of his career.
Starter for four games before breaking his collarbone in 2021 (Texas Tech). Threw for 872 yards and six scores while completing 69.5% of his passes. Started the season well, including a game against FIU in which he threw for 399 yards and four touchdowns.
2020 (Oregon): Started all seven games for Oregon and helped the Ducks win the Pac-12 Championship and make it to the Fiesta Bowl. threw for 1,559 yards and 13 scores on 63.4% of his attempts. Among the best in the FBS in terms of yards per try, yards per completion, and passing efficiency. Had several 300-yard passing games, including one against UCLA with 334 yards and three touchdowns.
2019 (Oregon): Was Justin Herbert’s main backup and would later be picked in the first round of the NFL draft. Completed 12 out of 15 passes for 144 yards and three scores in five games.
2018 (Oregon): He wore a redshirt as a true rookie and only played briefly in three games.
Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona, was his home field. As a senior, he threw for 3,071 yards and 30 scores. Received awards for being on the first team of All-6A Premier League and All-Chandler Unified School District. Shough was a four-star recruit and a top-300 national prospect. He played in the Elite 11 and was named by many services as the best player in Arizona.
