Manchester City secured their spot in the 2025 FA Cup final over the weekend.
Rico Lewis and Josko Gvardiol scored goals for City in their semi-final match against Nottingham Forest at Wembley on Sunday, resulting in a 2-0 victory.
For the most part, Man City was at ease against Forest; however, Morgan Gibbs-White could have presented the Manchester club with a more difficult situation, as he missed two opportunities to score.
Several Man City fans were impressed by Gibbs-White, as they were able to observe what could potentially be arriving at their club during the summer.

Manchester City have been actively seeking a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne, who is expected to depart the club at the conclusion of the season. Guardiola is expected to bring in two new midfielders to the Etihad Stadium.
Man City is reportedly interested in acquiring Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen; however, they are also interested in bringing Gibbs-White to Manchester during the summer, as Hugo Viana is reputed to be a devotee of the Nottingham Forest star.
Guardiola was observed conversing briefly with the England midfielder on the field following Man City’s victory over Forest on Sunday, according to the Manchester Evening News.
“Kevin De Bruyne’s departure has already been announced, and the space he frees up on the wage book enables the recruitment of two players to replace him,” wrote Simon Bajkowski, a journalist for Manchester City.
“Florian Wirtz is being pursued by Bayer Leverkusen, and Morgan Gibbs-White was afforded a brief discussion by Guardiola following an FA Cup semi-final in which he nearly punished City for their inefficiency on numerous occasions.”
Gibbs-White will be among the numerous newcomers to join City this season, as Guardiola has identified the positions he wishes to address in advance of the upcoming season.
