Aaron Rodgers is still awaiting the Vikings’ verdict as the quarterback makes a significant decision for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The New York Jets released the 41-year-old in March, and he is presently a free agent.
The Steelers are prepared to designate Rodgers as their primary quarterback and have proposed a one-year contract.

However, the Green Bay Packers legend has elected to continue postponing the signature of the agreement.

Additionally, ESPN reports that Rodgers continues to anticipate that the Vikings will extend an offer.

According to journalist Jeremy Fowler, “There are some teams that I have spoken to that are still kind of wondering, ‘Is he just waiting out the Vikings?'”

“Because the Vikings would be an ideal scenario: one of the best play callers in the league in Kevin O’Connell, you’re guaranteed nine dome games per year.”

However, Fowler adds that a Vikings move for Rodgers is “unlikely”.

They are instead said to be “moving forward with J.J. McCarthy”.

The 22-year-old product of Michigan missed his whole rookie season because he had to have surgery on his right knee to fix a torn meniscus.

McCarthy was selected tenth overall in the Draft last year.

The Steelers wanted to have Rodgers in their team by now.
