“Sensational” – Glenn Hoddle says he wanted “real talent” at Tottenham “for years”.

Glenn Hoddle claims he has “desperately” desired “authentic talent” at Tottenham “for years.”Glenn Hoddle, a legendary Spurs supporter, has revealed why he has coveted a “true talent” for years and has predicted that the player will travel to Europe in 2024.

Pursuing a top-four Premier League finish, Spurs

A 1-0 FA Cup loss to Manchester City recently dashed manager Ange Postecoglou’s aspirations of guiding Spurs to their first major trophy since 2008; however, the Lilywhites still have an excellent opportunity to secure a top-four finish and qualify for the Champions League next season.Since joining Tottenham from Celtic last summer, Postecoglou has had a very promising start to life; the Australian’s high-pressing, intense style of play has swiftly won over a number of the club’s devoted supporters.Spurs appear to be operating more efficiently off the field as well, as the transfer policy continues to benefit greatly from the appointments of technical director Johan Lange and chief football officer Scott Munn.

It was widely reported that the north Londoners had defeated European powerhouses Barcelona and Bayern Munich in competitions for Swedish phenomenon Lucas Bergvall and defender Radu Dragusin, respectively, which perhaps encapsulates their rising stature as a club.

Tottenham are advancing, and Postecoglou’s positive attitude has been a significant contributor.

Spurs’ data-driven recruitment model has also been a significant contributor to their success; James Maddison, who joined the club in the summer of 2023, is poised to become one of their star players.Additionally, the former Leicester City player has returned from an injury lay-off and strengthens Postecoglou’s push for the top four; Hoddle predicts he will be included in Gareth Southgate’s England squad at Euro 2024.

Hoddle discloses that he has coveted Maddison for Spurs “for years.”

Hoddle stated in an interview with TNT Sports that he has desired Maddison to join Tottenham “for years” and that the “real talent” will play a significant role at the club.Hoddle stated of Maddison’s prospects for England, “He is certainly adequate.”

“For years, I have maintained that he ought to have joined Tottenham two or three seasons ago.” Harry Kane aside, it would have been phenomenal if we had been able to acquire him with the roster of players we had.Additionally, I believe he is currently one of the most creative No. 10 performers in the industry. Both he and [Phil] Foden are exceptional.

“He is such a gifted young man. He is not yet as secure, in my opinion, in an England shirt. The situation does not evoke the sense that the manager has literally embraced him and declared, “You are my man.”

“If he is constantly required to prove himself, we may not be able to see his best.” He is a must-have at Tottenham, however, due to his accomplishments at Leicester; he is a genuine talent.”
