prediction.Jamie Carragher lays out the reasons why Arsenal defeated Liverpool in no uncertain terms. After Sunday’s match, Jamie Carragher stated his belief that Arsenal’s defensive domination was the key factor in Liverpool’s loss.

After last weekend’s 3-1 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, Liverpool’s lead in the Premier League table was reduced to a mere two points. The only goal that Liverpool managed to score was an own goal by Gabriel. The hosts scored three goals—Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Leandro Trossard.

David Raya of Arsenal made a comfortable save from Luis Diaz in the 46th minute, Liverpool’s lone attempt on goal for the whole match. Carragher has stated his continued belief in Manchester City as the league title favorites, but he did concede a “slim chance” to Arsenal following their victory over Liverpool.Carragher emphasized how Jurgen Klopp’s squad lost because Arsenal denied Liverpool clear opportunities to score. In another area, the former Liverpool defender did admit that his former club is among the league’s top teams.”They [Arsenal] were superior to Liverpool in every department, but their defensive prowess really stood out,” Carragher remarked during Monday Night Football on Sky Sports. There was never a moment when I thought Liverpool were going to score that game.

After the game, I stated my belief that Manchester City had a better outcome than Arsenal. However, with to their excellent defense, Arsenal does have a remote possibility of winning the title.

In my opinion, Arsenal is the Premier League’s top defensive squad, both in terms of goals allowed and overall statistics.

It was on display yesterday with Liverpool’s true xG, and it’s worth noting that Manchester City also won 1-0 at the Emirates. Arsenal have a shot since Manchester City and Liverpool, the league’s two top attacking clubs, went into the match without appearing capable of scoring.
