Fabrizio Romano has reported that Hull City are poised to complete the loan signing of Manchester United midfielder Toby Collyer today.
The Tigers have been linked with Collyer throughout the January transfer window and Romano now claims an agreement is in place for the 22-year-old defensive midfielder to arrive on loan, with the move expected to be finalised imminently.

Collyer, who previously spent time in Brighton’s academy, joined West Brom on loan for the first half of the season. During his spell at The Hawthorns, he made 12 Championship appearances before returning to Old Trafford midway through the campaign.
His loan was cut short due to a calf injury, prompting United to recall him as he continued his recovery, although the plan had always been for him to secure another temporary move in the second half of the season.
Despite some reports labelling his West Brom stint as disappointing, Collyer still featured regularly from the bench, making three starts and nine substitute appearances. United’s decision to carefully manage his return from injury and arrange another Championship loan suggests they continue to view him as a player with significant potential.

Hull City have already been active in the market this month, completing the loan signing of Yu Hirakawa from Bristol City, while James Debayo has also arrived at the MKM Stadium.
Further additions could follow, with Rangers midfielder Kieran Dowell among those linked with a move to Humberside. Dowell has yet to feature in the Scottish Premiership this season and is reportedly available for a loan switch.
There may also be departures, as Hull City are said to be open to loaning out Kasey Palmer, with Luton Town showing interest. Such a move could create space within the squad for further reinforcements.
Elsewhere, defender Charlie Hughes has been linked with Crystal Palace, who see the Hull City man as a potential long-term successor to Marc Guehi.
Hull City currently sit fourth in the Championship following consecutive league victories and will look to maintain their strong form when they host Swansea City this weekend.
