Derby County have confirmed further business during the January transfer window, with John Eustace approving another departure from Pride Park.

The Rams have been active this month as Eustace looks to reshape his squad for the remainder of the Championship campaign, and several players have already been allowed to move on. Jake Rooney is the latest to exit the club.
The 22-year-old defender had only recently returned to Derby after a loan spell with Barnsley earlier this season.
Speaking about Rooney’s future previously, Eustace highlighted the defender’s attitude and professionalism, while stressing the importance of regular match minutes at this stage of his career.
With that in mind, Rooney has now joined National League side Boston United on loan for the rest of the season as he looks to continue his development with consistent game time.
