After Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Burnley, Chelsea spoke out against the abuse aimed at Conor Gallagher.

Before the tie at Stamford Bridge, the 24-year-old was seen in a video that went viral being accused of ignoring a character.

Even though the player could be seen putting his arm around the kid as he got ready to lead the West Londoners out onto the field.

Still, his fans have been very mean to him and have left a lot of abusive comments on his social media posts.

“Chelsea Football Club is aware of a video clip circulating on social media from Saturday’s game against Burnley, which has been taken considerably out of context,” said a statement from the Blues.

“The level of abuse and slanderous comments that followed about Conor Gallagher is totally unacceptable.”

Chelsea has spoken out against the abuse aimed at Conor Gallagher after Saturday's 2-2 draw with Burnley.

Mauricio Pochettino, the manager of Chelsea, also talked about the film at his Wednesday press conference.

He said, “This really upset me because no one wants to do something like this with this goal.”

That can happen when you are playing football and focused on a lot of different things at the same time as the game starts. He did a great job with both mascots.
