When the Georgia Bulldogs play the Alabama Crimson Tide in college football in 2025, history will be on their side.
In 2025, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Alabama Crimson Tide will play in the fifth week of the regular season. This will be the second time in history that these two teams have met.
Even though the Crimson Tide have won more games than the Bulldogs in the series over the past ten years, the Bulldogs will have a big historical edge when the two teams meet.
It should be pretty clear by now that Georgia is on a huge home win run. More than 30 straight games at Sanford Stadium have been wins for the Dawgs. They haven’t lost a home game since the 2019 season. The game against Alabama this year will, of course, take place in Athens.
But a home win run isn’t the only thing that has helped the Dawgs in the past. The SEC just recently announced that the regular season game between Georgia and Alabama would start at night. It will be the Bulldogs’ first home night game of the 2025 season.
