Cheer teams from all over the country gathered in Orlando over the weekend to fight for national titles in seven different divisions.
There were teams from several schools in our state in the game, and they all did great when they were on stage. Here are some of the best performances:
Alabama won 1st place and was the national winner in Coed Division IA.
First place and national winners at the Open Co-ed finals at Shelton State.
Second place for Alabama in the All Girl Division IA
Coastal Day 2 of the Alabama CC Open Small Coed Game: 2nd place
Third place for Auburn, Mascot in Division IA.
The Crimson Tide had a lot to be happy about because their success in the final round of the Cheer Division IA Co-Ed Championship made them the national champions. In the final round of the event, Alabama got a 94.8 raw score, just beating South Florida and the Bulls’ 94.6 total score.
With this win, the Tide has won its seventh national crown and first co-ed title since 2015.
This is the fourth title for the co-ed team. It’s been 10 years since they last won it. You guys are really tough, we’ve really come close. I’m proud of how hard these athletes work to promote their school in a good way, and then they win a championship as a reward!”

With a score of 90.9, Alabama came in second place in the All Girl Division IA tournament. Up until Sunday, when they came in second, the Tide have never finished worse than third in the All-Girl game in any of their last five championships.
As part of the 2025 UCA/UDA College Cheerleading & Dance Team National Championship, the Tide spirit teams also made it to the championship rounds of the Division IA Mascot, Game Day Dance, and Jazz events.
Alabama came in fifth place in the Division IA Mascot event with an 89.8 score, and they were sixth in the Division IA Jazz event with a 91.9 score. With a team score of 92.1, Alabama also came in seventh place in the Division IA Game Day Dance tournament.
